Introduction to Dressmaking
Workshop / £70 per person

A friendly class with a very approachable tutor, no question too Small. Our tutor, Gill Steele, will help build your confidence whilst guiding you through making a dress/skirt or even a shirt, for child or adult to suit your skill level.
The 4 weeks include: Choosing a pattern suited to your skill level, then the appropriate fabric to make it (these are at an additional cost but you get 1O% off). You will be taught how to lay out the pattern and cut it, understand the pattern, learn various sewing techniques.
Equipment needed: Basic dress making kit: scissors, chalk /pencil, pins, tape measure, stitch un-picker, sewing machine where possible so we can help you with any problems that arise (we can provide one though if needed).
10% discount during course on all dress making purchases from 2nd floor.
